Real Madrid is once again in the final of champions league.
Real has made it very clear that they are ready for a showdown, geared up to make history by winning 3 trophies in a row and Liverpool is seeking this prestigious award as they owe it to their fans.
For Liverpool its 13 years past overdue.
Liverpool will play for sixth champions league glory when they take on champions Real Madrid who are seeking 13th Champions League glory and potential 3rd consecutive victory. Both teams have odds ranked up against each other and both are trying to come ahead. Real has finished domestic league La Liga securing the third position, which is worst in terms of points, being ranked down by rival Barcelona which happens to be 2018 Spanish Champ.
We have seen the Royal Wedding (Meghan Clark & Prince Harry), London Club won FA Cup, Frankfurt won the German Cup. Should we anticipate another WIN for Liverpool FC?
Sweeping the sense of Déjà vu under the rug, both teams have had great Champions league run,. However, some say that Liverpool had an easy road to final which is absolutely not true. Real Madrid eliminated teams like Paris-Saint Germain, Juventus, and Bayern Munich. The ultimate fight has yet to comence.
Who's got more juice?
Real Madrid is confident of a victory in Kyiv against Liverpool as full squad is fit and their big guns Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema (BBC) are back in form. Youngsters like Isco, Asensio and Lucas Vazquez are performing quite good and their midfield is, as usual, one of the best in Europe. They had slight issues in defense but with the return of Carvajal that is resolved with Sergio Ramos, Varane and Marcelo with help from the defensive midfielder and best game reader Casemiro. Their ball stopper Keylor Navas is doing great in the Champions League and questions of getting a new "crème de la crème" is fading from Bernabeu.
Liverpool is unstoppable in front of goal. Their combination is on the same level as BBC or MSD had once. They broke all goalscoring records in Champions League with an average of 5 goals against each team they kicked to the curb in knockout rounds. They have good midfield in the shape of Emre can, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and James Milner. No doubt they are at disadvantage without Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, potentially forced to play safe with the exploits demonstarted by Roma in the second leg of their Semi-Final.
The men behind the curtain
Zizou (Zinedine Zidane) has proved himself one of the best managers in Europe by winning 2 Champions League, 1 La Liga title, 2 club world cups, 1 Spanish cup, 1 Spanish Super Cup, 2 UEFA Super Cups and 1 World’s Best Club Coach since joining Real Madrid in 2016. He has remarkably proven that he can be as good manager as he was a player.
Jurgen Klopp has won 2 German championships, 2 German cups and 2 German Super cups with Borussia Dortmund but with Liverpool, he has not won any title yet since joining Liverpool from Dortmund in 2015. But he has bought Salah from Roma. Club President wasn’t even much interested as he was thinking Salah was not worth £35 million.
WHO IS GOING TO GET CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2018 GLORY?
Real Madrid are once again favorites to win the Champions League after winning back to back in 2015/16 and 2016/17 and 3 Champions League titles in last 4 season, as they have experienced team in terms of Big Events like Champions League finals and to make a record of winning 3 consecutive Champions League in an era of such competitive football.
Liverpool are certainly underdogs even Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool legend Gerrard insist they aren’t underdogs against Real Madrid. But on their day they can beat any team as they proved it against Manchester City.
The key will be defense, whoever did better defending they will take away the Champions League trophy.
