Hamza Ali Abbasi and Rehaam Khan at each others throat! Is this what we have been reduced to?

Earlier today, Hamza Ali Abbas, one of the most vocal and controversial actors, anchor, and a die-hard supporter/defender of Imran Khan; yet again dropped a bombshell regarding Reham Khan's new book. Let's take a look at the screenshot (that was later deleted); He also shared some screenshots on the conversation between former BBC anchor and Ahsan Iqbal, which were allegedly leaked by a hacker. Hamza accused Reham of colluding with PML-N lobby, in order to defame Imran Khan (yet again). Both of the personalities have been known to thrive on controversy.  With the original tweet deleted, Rehaam Khan has been fuming and Hamza took it to twitter and facebook to share screenshots of emails, exchanged between the two of them.  Pictures Sourced via  Hamza Ali Abbasi(Facebook Official) People on twitter and facebook are weighing in on the feud but I think the sanest voice I heard was of Syed Talat Hussain; These exhanges are classic washing of di

You Are Being SERVED!

There are good days and then there are bad days, but to be fair, days are all the same. The difference lies between lines of the day's events. The motivation for this article was a highlight that appeared on social media, "Iran hangs first of the four-man involved in the bank scandal". Exposed in 2011, the 30 trillion-rial ($2.7 billion) scandal involved embezzlement, bribery, forgery, and money-laundering in 14 state-owned and private banks between 2007 and 2010 by people close to the political elite, the affair severely damaged the reputation of Ahmadinejad and his entourage towards the end of his eight-year presidency. Mehafarid Amir-Khosravi, described as a self-made tycoon, was hanged in Tehran's Evin Prison on Saturday after the Supreme Court upheld the four death sentences. Another incident worth mentioning is of Chen Shui-bian , former President of the Republic of China, who stepped down on May 20, 2008, the same day that Ma Ying-jeou took offic

The Pandora Box - GEO TV's Act of Blasphemy

There was a time when there were very few television channels and the content sharing was subjected to scrutiny in order to ensure the quality of the content. With the advancement of information technology and communication networks, news channels and our media thrived and progressed much more in a short span of time. But as the competition grew intense the quality of content declined. It is a fact that our media is greatly influenced by so-called modernism and some extra shots of contemporaneousness. Don’t get me wrong, I merely wanted to state the fact that in spite of living in an Islamic Republic State, we can’t seem to grasp the concept of it. What rubbish has been shared under the banner of “Breaking News”, everybody knows it. Most of the time you can’t even watch the news with the family sitting around. Well, I said way too much in order to lay the foundation but the one thing that urged me to write this article is the act of blasphemy committed in Geo TV’s mo

Non-Political Brainstorming

Working around the edges of the politics, we even sometimes forget what we are, what we do, and even sometimes the real face of humanity is just scratched away. Politics being the most ancient occupation of the civilization, ‘Course after the prostitution but I, like many, don’t get the real difference between them at all. One is a metaphor for selling the body and the other is for the land. And it’s very much ironic that always it goes in the hand of the one, that doesn’t seem to realize the importance of the position that they have been chosen for. Yeah, they do care about the power that comes along but it’s considered to be the tertiary root, Power is one real and primary to it (so far). The so-called “of, for and by” rule is always having a nagging effect on me. It’s doing great’ for the West and those who respect the system. Contrary our people rise, present the best discipline of liveliness when it comes to Shahzeb Murder Case, Mukhtaran’s issues, Dr. Afia Siddique's C
