How do I write? A beginner's guide to get you started.

A lot of people around me ask me almost every time I bring up writing in conversation. And given that it takes a considerable amount of my time, apart from teaching, writing do comes up a lot. People ask me all the time,  How do you write? How can you write? How do you find the time? What motivates you to write? How do you stay even focused with children hammering doors and throwing toys around? Don't you think you can do something better? You are an engineer, why do you bother with writing reviews and bullshit like this? To fully answer all the questions is a tad bit difficult because it is no small feat. The topic is too important, vast and extremely close to my heart. I really do not want to cram information into a single post that makes no sense. Instead, I planned to make it a series of posts that we can all relate to, and the first question in the series I decided to discuss is  "How do I write?" Writing is NOT easy To be honest there is no

An Essay on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Google’s Contribution

The corporations have been around for centuries, in the form of alliances between merchants, territories, and monarchs but the true form that committed to pooling capital, under a legally binding contract to benefit from sea-trade emerged in the 17 th century (Dari-Mattiacci, Gelderblom, Jonker, & Perotti, 2017) with the incorporation of Dutch East India company in 1602. The components of corporate form like representation, entity shielding, capital lock-in, tradable share and limited liability above all, offered protection of owner’s interests and assets (Kraakman & Armour, 2017) . Unfortunately, the corporations also took the liberty to ignore the impacts of devouring natural resources and environmental sustainability and rather focused on enhancing the productivity.  In the late 1800s, corporate philanthropy emerged and quickened the pace of progress in 1950. Over the last seven decades, corporations have transformed from merely doing good deeds to committing the pre

Champions League Final 2018: Real Madrid vs Liverpool

Real Madrid is once again in the final of champions league. Real has made it very clear that they are ready for a showdown, geared up to make history by winning 3 trophies in a row  and Liverpool is seeking this prestigious award as they owe it to their fans.  For Liverpool its 13 years past overdue. Liverpool will play for sixth champions league glory when they take on champions Real Madrid who are seeking 13 th Champions League glory and potential 3 rd consecutive victory. Both teams have odds ranked up against each other and both are trying to come ahead. Real has  finished domestic league La Liga securing the third position, which is  worst in terms of points, being ranked down by rival Barcelona which happens to be  2018 Spanish Champ.  T here have been superstitions and speculation, lurking behind the curtain that every year that Real Madrid Basketball team has won Euro league Real Madrid has lost Champions league. Right now sitting here I felt like histo

Will Celtics Series stir the debate of Lebron being a G.O.A.T?

The Cleveland Cavaliers will face off Celtics tonight in Game 4 of Eastern Conference finals at the Quicken Loans Arena.   This series has provided many ups and downs for the Cavs Squad. After Cavs beat the Raptors in an easy 4 Game series it was of the common perception that Cavs will be able to eliminate Boston in a one-sided quick series. But unlike Raptors, Celtics have no fear of the King. They were ready to go toe to toe against the Land. The Celtics holds home court advantage and they were able to beat Cavs in the first two Games at TD Garden. The worth noticing thing was how well Brad Stevens Squad was able to stop Lebron and his supporting cast on the defensive side. Despite that Celtics are down two all-star players due to injuries this season has been a miracle for the Boston side. Their young guns are doing outstanding and showing that they are here for the long haul. The series shifted to the Land and the young players of the Celtics were not up to the task. Cav

Rockets VS Warriors in Western Conference Finals (Supremacy Fight)

The most anticipated matchup of the 2017- 2018 NBA Play Offs is Rockets going against the potential all-time great, Warriors is here, and so far it has not let down the fans. When Kevin Durant joined the 73-win team two summers ago, it was believed that this team will make other teams look like a pile of garbage. And more so, it was true for the last season when they ran over the teams like it was nothing. No team opposed any threat to the mighty Bay Area. The most resistance they faced was by Spurs in 1 st half till Kawahi Leonard got injured by Zaza. All of the experts were of the opinion that other teams should give up for at least four years and try to rebuild their teams from the scratch because Golden State is not going anywhere. But Houston Rockets has other things on their mind. While most teams were tanking they took it upon themselves to dethrone Golden State, they made trades and make necessary adjustments to go up against the Warriors. Regular Season This regular se
